How to Use A Feng Shui Bagua Map In Your House

by iching 26 Jun 2024 0 Comments

To grasp Feng Shui and its application in your environment, start by familiarizing yourself with the Feng Shui Bagua map.

What Is A Feng Shui Bagua Map?

The bagua serves as an energy map in Feng Shui, utilized to effectively apply Feng Shui remedies throughout your space.

Each section of the bagua corresponds to different aspects of life, such as health, creativity, family, and finances.

By using the bagua map, you can discern which areas of your space require adjustments to enhance your overall well-being.

How Does Bagua Map Work?

The bagua map indicates how different areas of your home correspond to various aspects of your life.

Once you identify these Feng Shui sectors in your home, you can apply specific Feng Shui techniques to enhance them.

For instance, to attract more abundance, you would apply Feng Shui remedies aimed at enhancing wealth in that area of your home. Similarly, for fostering love and relationships, you would focus on applying Feng Shui tips to the corresponding area of your home.

How to Use Feng Shui Bagua Map

1. Print or draw your home's floor plan

The first step is to obtain a floor plan of your home, either printed or hand-drawn, ensuring it includes all rooms, bathrooms, closets, windows, hallways, patio doors, stairs, and any other features. If your home has multiple levels, begin with the first level.

2. Locate your front door

Next, identify the main entryway of your home on the floor plan. This entrance, known as the 'Mouth of Chi,' determines the starting point for positioning the bagua grid over the entire floor plan of the house. Ensure that the front door aligns with the bottom of the bagua map.

3. Divide the floor plan into 9 sections

We advise using a ruler to divide the floor plan into nine equal sections, similar to a tic-tac-toe grid. Using a different colored pen or marker can make it easier to distinguish the lines clearly.

4. Label the different sections

After dividing your floor plan, Cerrano recommends either labeling each section to indicate its corresponding life area or placing a printed bagua map nearby for visual reference on how different life sections are organized.

It's important to note that not all floor plans are perfect squares or rectangles. This can result in areas that are either missing or extended. It means the energy of that life area is not fully activated and needs more attention for improvements. On the other hand, if it's extended, it signifies a positive extension of energy in that area, offering more benefits.

Different Areas of Bagua Map

Once you arrange your space according to the bagua map, you can address the sections that correspond to your goals beyond the home. For instance, if you aim to enhance financial abundance, you might place plants in your wealth and prosperity area. Here’s a guide to each section of the bagua map and how to harness its energy to enrich your life:
